Thanks for the Liebster Award Award!

04/15/13 | Uncategorized

A big DANKE goes to Jessica @ Jessica the Baker for nominating my blog for the hip-cool Liebster Award. I ’m floored you chose my blog!
Liebster-AwardWhat is a Liebster Award?
The Liebster Award is an award given to rising bloggers who have less than 200 followers.  The word Liebster is German for dearest, sweetest, cutest, etc etc etc.
It’s a great way to spread the word about newby bloggers.

Just for Foodies loves fledgling cooks,  mommy bloggers, anyone nuts about food.
I’m always on the look-out for hard-to-find recipes, like what your mom cooks at home.
Award Rules:
1. You must thank the person who nominated you.
2. Answer the 11 questions posed by your nominator.
3. Pass on the award to 11 new recipients.
4. Pose 11 new questions to your bloggers.

Here are my answers to Jessica’s questions:

  1. What holiday do you cook/bake the most food? Christmas.
  2. Cookies or Cupcakes? Can’t I have both?
  3. What is a family recipe that is passed down through generations? Armenian Nazook. A true labor of love, but worth the trouble. Recipe coming soon!
  4. What is your favorite food to cook/eat? Chocolate.
  5. What is your favorite kitchen tool  that you absolutely can’t do without? My food processor.
  6. When did you start your blog? Mainly while on maternity leave after Daisy was born a couple of years ago.
  7. What’s your favorite part about Oreo cookies, the cookie or the cream? The cocoa-rich cookie
  8. Ever had a birthday without a cake? Never – I’m spoiled.
  9. Are you a travel bug? Oh, yes. I wanna go around & around & around the world.
  10. Sweet or Salty? Sweeeeeet!
  11. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you like cinnamon? 9, because it smells like home.
