My friends Irene & Pragna suggested we walk to the local supermarket on our lunch break to get something to eat. All the way there, I mourned how I’ve gained weight and I really should be more cautious about what I eat. So untrue to form, I went on about how the nutrition facts are my conscience in print these days and how I look at the fat and calorie content of nearly everything I eat.
On that very unsuspecting trip to Gelson’s, they took me to the freezer aisle and once I saw the green li’l boxes behind the frosty glass, I felt a rush of happiness that took me back to my high school days. Today may be my birthday all over again.
It’s Its are proof that Santa Claus exists and he wants us to be happy! They are the BEST ice cream sandwhich cookies in the world…not that I’ve tasted ALL of the ice cream sandwich cookies that exist or have ever existed, but trust my experience – you won’t be disappointed. The good folks in San Francisco create a seemingly odd pair of oatmeal cookies & minty ice cream, then blanket the whole thing in divine dark chocolate. These li’l treats are so wickedly good, you won’t mind the calories!
