Coco in the Kitchen is a personal blog written and edited entirely by me, Colette Zabo. All content is created and owned by me, including the photographs and blog logo. The sole purpose of this blog is to share recipes, experiences,  products, craft projects that I have found useful. If I do not personally love it, you will not see it here.

GF Chinese Almond Cookies Makes 1 dozen Ingredien GF Chinese Almond Cookies
Makes 1 dozen

Ingredients 
95g pwd sugar
160g almond flour
3Tb cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt 
1 Tb lemon zest
2 egg yolks (save whites for brushing)
110ml oil or melted butter
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
12 whole almonds

Instructions 
Preheat oven to 375F
Combine all but whites
Roll into balls
Flatten each
Press almond into center
Brush w egg whites
Bake 15 mins
