Shawn's named it The Dr. Seuss Cake. This Leanin Shawn's named it
The Dr. Seuss Cake.

This Leaning Tower was assembled after a delightful dinner celebrating our anniversary. It's possible I may have had a few sips of a Sicilian cocktail before cutting what I THOUGHT were level layers of cake.

It may not be an engineering triumph, but I promise you it will wow the taste buds.

Mexican vanilla cake with raspberry sauce and pastry cream, all from scratch.

Tomorrow, I'll dress her up in raspberry whipped cream and we'll have another look, yeah.

Gnight, friends. 🌙

I'm always looking for a good bedtime read. This I'm always looking for a good bedtime read. This one is the first of a series of fascinating books written by an Australian-born British officer who was taken prisoner in Japan during WWII.

An anglophile captivated by Japanese culture, I'm engrossed in this read. If you're looking for a fresh perspective, try James Clavell.
